Pilates On Flinders can help. I understand your frustrations.
 With 20 plus years of experience teaching Pilates, holding advanced qualifications and even experiencing for myself how the Pilates Method helped me recover from a chronic back injury, I can offer you personalised, therapeutic Pilates that targets your own specific needs physically, mentally and emotionally.

My small group classes are capped at 3-4 clients which ensures you receive the individual attention required. Your workout will be individually programmed (I don’t do generic one size fits all classes) to allow you to reach your goals faster.

This approach in Pilates can help you to stop feeling stiff and sore and have you feeling empowered with a better quality of daily life!

FAQ

I have back pain and a bulging disc. Are your classes suitable?
  • Yes, my sessions target pain management and quality of life improvements and modifications if necessary.
    My 20 plus years of experience ensures safe, personalised progress.  As I hold the Advanced Diploma in Pilates I am qualified and have experience in teaching clients with conditions such as bulging discs, scoliosis, osteoporosis and many more. Please ensure you have been cleared for exercise from your treating practitioner.
What if I am a beginner or over 40/50?
  • Classes are perfect for all levels and all ages (from teens to in the 80’s). No prior Pilates experience is required as I work with your body where it is currently at.
What makes Pilates On Flinders different from group Reformer? Isn’t it all the same?
  • My studio offers an authentic style of Pilates close to the way Joseph Pilates intended. The classes feel more like a private session at a lower cost due to there being only 3-4 in the class. While many people are familiar with the Reformer and mat Pilates , my clients also use other traditional apparatus such as Wunda Chair, Cadillac, barrels and small apparatus. 
    Authentic Pilates delivers outstanding results as it is highly focused on precision. The details matter in Pilates and can get lost and overlooked in a large group class. In my small classes you are truly seen, guided and supported every step of the way.
How long are the classes what is the schedule and how do I book?
  • Classes are all 1 hour duration. The timetable can frequently change so please get in touch for the current schedule. You can book by giving me a call on 0420 981176 or fill out the online form and I will give you a call direct. 
Are there any lock in memberships? What is the cancellation policy?
  • There are no lock in memberships at Pilates On Flinders.  Small group classes are billed by the school term. This ensures commitment and consistency in your workouts which is necessary for your progress. Duets and privates are paid on a casual basis.
How many times a week should I come?
  • With 1-2 classes per week you will see and feel noticeable improvements in strength and mobility and reduced pain. Commitment and consistency matter much more than intensity with the Pilates Method
